Happy Lunar New Year!

Neglecting all the other posts that are supposed to be in line first, happy Lunar New Year loves! I don't know if it's due to my Asian roots or whatever, I am somehow more excited for Lunar New Year instead. Maybe it's because I get to wear crazy qibaos. Or dress in red from head to toe pretending I'm Valentino's ambassador. Or perhaps sporting the glamorous 1920ish up-dos. Oh, and of course, the wonderful red envelopes with fortunes enclosed. Yes, you know what I'm talking about. Angpaos! Maybe that's the reason why. Hee. Anyways, to celebrate yet our most favourite holiday season of the year, Ave and I head to take some proper pics in a proper studio, aiming for editorials kind of results. Hope you love it as much as we do!

my favourite of the bunch. wearing an embellished phoenix semi-qibao dress, resting on bed of roses.
for once, the sloucher can finally sit upright! yaaaaaay.
thinking whether i shall steal the gorgeous vintage radio or not. hmm.
so far, this shot has been my friends' most favourite.

dressing in a yukata daddy gave me when I still sat in grade 5. told you, i have been, am, and probably most likely going to be big. whoops! #truestory
details of the accessories : a lucky find of an antique button from The Button Lady, a regular at Camberwell Sunday Market- such a sweet old lady she is- worn as a ring and  drop bug-gems earrings from ASOS.

Last but not least, we are wishing you loves an auspicious and prosperous year ahead! Gong Xi!
